Manisha Kumar joins Flipkart
She was earlier a Partner at Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas
Manisha Kumar has joined Flipkart as Vice President and Legal Head of M&A. She has over two decades of experience and specializes in cross-border private-equity investments, and M&A (both in the listed and unlisted space, across diverse sectors), investment restructuring, and securities law advisory.
Commenting on her move, Kumar said, "It is a very exciting time to be a part of the e-commerce industry. There is something new happening every day. I feel fortunate to have found the opportunity to contribute to the growth of Flipkart.
"It is a fantastic organization and provides a steep learning curve for every member. There is a focus on collaboration and excellence, which are the most important ingredients required to achieve organizational goals."
Kumar has advised several financial services companies including the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI), registered intermediaries and non-banking financial companies.
Prior to joining Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas (CAM), she was a partner with J Sagar Associates, leading the transaction teams acting for private equity players and blue-chip companies. She advised multinationals on the legal and regulatory requirements of their business and commercial interests in India.
