Luthra and Luthra hire Abhilekh Verma and Tamal Mandal as partners
The firm's partnership across offices has now risen to 67
Abhilekh Verma and Tamal Mandal have joined Luthra and Luthra Law Offices India as partners. While Verma, who will be based out of the firm's Bengaluru office, will look after the corporate practice, Mandal, at the Delhi office will take care of the international trade practice.
Having graduated from the University of Delhi, Verma has over 26 years of experience. He has worked with prestigious law firms including Kochhar & Co, Khaitan & Co, and J Sagar Associates.
Mandal is a 2009 graduate of the West Bengal National University of Juridical Sciences, Kolkata and earned his LL.M. in international dispute settlement from the Geneva Graduate Institute. He started his career at the erstwhile Amarchand & Mangaldas & Suresh A Shroff & Co. Later, he served as a dispute settlement lawyer at the World Trade Organization for over four years.
With over 13 years of experience, for two years, he held the position of a senior lawyer, disputes, and policy, at the Department for International Trade.
