Lars Jessen joins DLA Piper as a partner
He served in the private equity and M&A sectors at Paul Hastings
DLA Piper has strengthened its corporate practice group with the appointment of Lars Jessen as a new partner in its Frankfurt and Hamburg offices.
He has vast experience in advising investors and companies on complex cross-border transactions, restructurings, joint ventures and management participation models.
Earlier a partner at Paul Hastings, Jessen also focuses on mid-market private equity, private M&A, joint ventures and real estate private equity in the technology and life sciences sectors. He advises investors in distressed debt and restructuring loan transactions and distressed M&A.
Dr. Benjamin Parameswaran, the managing partner of DLA Piper in Germany, commented, "Private equity is core to the corporate group's offering in Germany and throughout the world. With the addition of Jessen, we are continuing our development in this area and gaining a highly regarded expert in the field of private equity. He will complement our teams at the Frankfurt and Hamburg offices perfectly with his international experience and focus on real estate private equity."
Jessen added, "I am very much looking forward to working with DLA Piper's various national and international teams, including across practices and contributing to the further growth and visibility of the private equity practice."
