Khaitan & Co Expands Corporate And M&A Practice With Three New Partners
Khaitan & Co has strengthened its Corporate and M&A practice with the appointment of three new Partners: Shishir Vayttaden, K. Aishwarya, and Aditi Singhvi.
Shishir and Aditi will join the firm in Mumbai, while Aishwarya will join in Bengaluru.
Haigreve Khaitan, Senior Partner at Khaitan & Co, expressed enthusiasm about the new additions, stating, “We are delighted to welcome Shishir and his team to our Corporate and M&A practice. Shishir’s significant experience in dealmaking will further enhance our capabilities in delivering exceptional legal services to our clients. I am confident that their integration into our firm will be seamless, and they will contribute meaningfully to our continued success.”
Shishir brings over 17 years of expertise, focusing on public and private M&A as well as Private Equity transactions. He serves as external counsel to numerous private equity funds, leading Indian conglomerates, and Fortune 500 companies.
Aishwarya, with over 13 years of experience, is well-regarded in Corporate and M&A Practice by various prestigious organizations. Aditi Singhvi, a 2011 graduate of the National Law University Jodhpur, has been honored with accolades including recognition in Legal Era's 40 under 40 Rising Star Awards 2023, and has received numerous other awards and recognitions throughout her career.
This strategic move reflects Khaitan & Co's commitment to growth, attracting top-tier talent, and reinforcing its position as a leading law firm in India. Recently, the firm expanded its employment practice with two new Partners in Bengaluru and Delhi. Earlier this year, it launched its Ahmedabad office with two Partners and expanded its Mumbai office. Currently, Khaitan & Co boasts a team of over 250 Partners and Counsel across offices in India and Singapore.
