Khaitan & Co Advised Rakesh Gangwal And The Chinkerpoo Family Trust On $1.3 Billion Sale Of 5.83% Stake In Indigo
Khaitan & Co advised Rakesh Gangwal and The Chinkerpoo Family Trust on the sale of a 5.83% stake in Indigo (InterGlobe Aviation), valued at approximately USD 1.3 billion.
A total of 2.25 crore shares, representing 5.83% of the holding in InterGlobe Aviation, were sold by Gangwal and The Chinkerpoo Family Trust, whose trustees are Shobha Gangwal and JP Morgan Trust Company of Delaware.
Following the share sale, Gangwal's stake in InterGlobe Aviation decreased from 5.89% to 5.31%, while The Chinkerpoo Family Trust's stake reduced from 13.49% to 8.24%. Consequently, the combined shareholding of Gangwal and The Chinkerpoo Family Trust has declined from 19.38% to 13.55%.
