The team of five has moved from Howse Williams
British law firm Mishcon de Reya's associated firm Karas has hired five lawyers, including Kevin So for its newly opened office in Hong Kong. The other lawyers joining the firm are senior associates Geoffrey Lai and Veronica So and associates Jamie Chan and Tricia Yu.
All the five lawyers earlier worked with Howse Williams.
Mishcon had opened its Hong Kong office in September last. Karas now has six partners.
So had joined Howse Williams in 2019 from Davis Polk & Wardwell.
He focuses on high-stakes contentious trust and international succession matters, and various probate, family and mental health disputes.
