Kaveri Shrivastava joins Kochhar & Co as Senior Partner and Co-Head in Hyderabad
Kaveri Shrivastava has joined Kochhar & Co as a Senior Partner and Co-Head of its Hyderabad office.
In 2002, Kaveri graduated from the Faculty of Law, Delhi University and it was in 2003 when she earned her LLM in Corporate & Trade Regulation Laws from the New York University School of Law.
Following which she became the member of the New York State Bar Association and dual-qualified to practice law in India and the United States.
Having almost two decades of experience in corporate and commercial law, Kaveri focuses on corporate and commercial law, advising on acquisitions, joint ventures, strategic alliances, cross-border investments, development projects as well as high-stake litigation matters.
She has represented reputed domestic and multinational clients across several sectors, including aviation, education, infrastructure (roads and bridges), IT & ITeS, metals and minerals, oil & gas, pharmaceuticals & life sciences, power (conventional and renewable), and retail.
Furthermore, Kaveri has supported clients in a variety of high-profile matters before various Indian Courts and Tribunals, such as state High Courts, Subordinate Courts, and the National Company Law Tribunal.
Kaveri held the position of a Manager at Tatva Legal for 5 years, before joining Kochhar.
