Kamel Ben Salah and Pierre François join Norton Rose Fulbright as partners
Kamel Ben Salah and Pierre François join Norton Rose Fulbright as partners
The two were previously working at Gide Loyrette Nouel and Pinsent Masons
Banking and finance specialist Kamel Ben Salah and corporate adviser Pierre François have joined Norton Rose Fulbright to further expand the firm's partnership, which stands at 25 in its Paris office.
Christine Ezcutari, the head of Norton Rose Fulbright's Paris banking team stated that Salah's arrival would strengthen the firm's real estate finance practice and bolster its tax and real estate law knowledge and capabilities in the French capital.
The real estate finance partner Salah was serving at Gide Loyrette Nouel and joined the firm's banking and finance practice. He will focus predominantly on real estate asset finance, corporate finance, and project finance.
Working with Gide for over four decades, he led the structured, acquisition, and project finance teams for almost 30 years. He is also a member of the Paris and Tunis bars.
François was earlier working with Pinsent Masons. He advises banks and financial institutions on real estate-related financing, refinancing, and restructuring matters. On joining the firm's corporate practice, he will focus on a range of domestic and cross-border transactions, including structuring and negotiating deals, and distressed divestments.
With over 20 years of experience, he has worked with Marcus Partners, Dewey & LeBouef, Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer, and Paul Hastings. François has joined Norton Rose Fulbright with counsel Catherine Mandon and associate Laura Darvishi.
Meanwhile, early this year, Sébastien Praicheux had also joined the Paris corporate team from DLA Piper.
George Paterson, the head of the firm's Paris office, remarked, "With the arrival of three new partners and teams, our office now has 25 partners and confirms its ambition to develop the service offerings provided to our clients."
