Info Edge (India) Limited has appointed Kapil Chaudhary as a general counsel, legal, making him the new SMP. Hereafter, Amitendra Singh Antal, presently the senior vice president and SMP, will report to Chaudhary.

Having over 23 years of experience in legal leadership, strategy, data privacy, and general counsel roles, Chaudhary has worked across top-tier US-based global conglomerates in highly dynamic, agile, and fast-paced work environments.

He possesses in-depth knowledge and a strong understanding of industry regulations, and legislation. Chaudhary has also been a keynote speaker and served on the panel at major industry events on emerging technologies, artificial intelligence, privacy and data security.

He was part of the leadership team for India and the SAARC region at Autodesk and played a crucial role in the international legal team of Twitter and Junglee Games in India.

Chaudhary has previously worked with IBM, Schlumberger Asia Services Ltd., Star News and Fox Mandal Solicitors & Advocates.
