Suadat Ahmad Kirmani, a highly experienced disputes lawyer, has recently made a significant career move, departing from Tatva Legal in Hyderabad to join IndusLaw's disputes practice as a partner based in the Bengaluru office. With an impressive track record in the legal field, Kirmani brings nearly 11 years of expertise in handling complex disputes and has established a reputation for delivering exceptional counsel to a wide range of clients, both domestic and multinational.
Throughout Kirmani's career, he has demonstrated a profound understanding of corporate and commercial disputes, providing invaluable advice and strategic guidance to clients operating in diverse industries. His vast experience encompasses navigating intricate legal challenges and successfully representing clients in resolving complex disputes.
Kirmani's extensive areas of expertise span various legal domains, including litigation, arbitration, mergers and acquisitions, real estate matters, project disputes, claims, and infrastructure conflicts, as well as cases involving insolvency and white-collar crimes.
He has extensive experience advising multinational clients and representing prominent contractors in a range of corporate disputes, both domestically and internationally. He has been involved in numerous arbitration cases before reputable arbitration institutions such as the ICC (International Chamber of Commerce), SIAC (Singapore International Arbitration Centre), ICA (Indian Council of Arbitration), DIAC (Dubai International Arbitration Centre), among others
Kirmani has extensive experience managing intricate disputes across diverse sectors, encompassing metro rail projects, strategic oil reserves, solar projects, roads and highways, as well as innovative vehicle test tracks in India.
In addition to representing companies in arbitral tribunals and courts throughout the country, he offers ongoing advisory services to companies operating in India. His expertise extends to contract management and dispute resolution, enabling him to provide valuable guidance and strategic counsel to clients. Notably, Kirmani's contributions extend beyond his legal practice, as he serves on the Young IAMC Steering Committee for the years 2022-2024.
