Erstwhile Partner at Luthra and Luthra - Pallavi Bedi set to join Phoenix Legal
Luthra & Luthra Partner Pallavi Bedi will be joining Phoenix Legal at their Delhi Office to be part of the firm's Infrastructure, Energy and Resources Practice.
Pallavi is dual-qualified in India and England and, in her over two decades of experience, has advised multiple project developers and sponsors, investors, energy companies, government, commercial banks and other financial institutions.
Pallavi started her law career as a Senior Associate at Amarchand & Mangaldas & Suresh A Shroff & Co after which she moved to Mayer Brown International LLP as a Senior Associate in London.
Coming back to India, she joined J. Sagar Associates as Partner before moving to Luthra and Luthra Law Offices as a Partner in 2017.
She has been regularly recognised by legal publications such as Chambers & Partners, Asia Pacific and Chambers Global and The Legal 500 Asia Pacific for the Projects, Infrastructure & Energy Practice. Pallavi was also recognised as "Female Dealmaker of Asia 2021" by Asian Legal Business.
Pallavi practices in the area of Projects and Banking & Finance (including Project Finance). She focuses on Power, Oil & Gas, Mining, Renewable Energy and Project Financing. In addition, she has also been involved with other Infrastructure Projects such as Airports and Urban Infrastructure.
Pallavi has advised on diverse Energy projects, such as Power Projects, LNG (Liquefied Natural Gas) Projects (including LNG sale & purchase agreements), Mining projects (including mining agreements and offtake agreements), upstream developments (including on Production sharing Contracts and Joint Operating Agreements).
She has advised domestic and international borrowers and lenders on multiple Project Finance deals. In addition, she advises clients on gas sale and purchase agreements, power purchase agreement, EPC (Engineering, Procurement & Commissioning) contracts and O&M (Operations & Maintenance) contracts in relation to diverse projects.
