Dentons Link Legal boosts Corporate Commercial Practice with the appointment of Rohitashwa Prasad as Partner
Dentons Link Legal has announced that Rohitashwa Prasad has joined the Firm as a Partner in the Firm’s Corporate Commercial practice in the New Delhi office.
A law graduate (1995 Batch) from Campus Law Centre, University of Delhi, Rohitashwa has done his LLM from Harvard Law School, Cambridge, USA. He is admitted to practice in India and New York.
Rohitashwa brings with him 25 years of experience in the practice areas of M&A, Private Equity, and Capital Markets. He has advised various businesses, investment banks, private equity funds in multifarious transactions such as strategic acquisitions, asset sales, financial investments, joint ventures, fund raising, IPOs, FCCBs, and QIPs, besides representing clients in litigation matters early in his career. He also has extensive experience of advising and interacting with the Government of India in its disinvestment programme.
Prior to joining Dentons Link Legal, Rohitashwa has worked with J. Sagar Associates and White & Case LLP (Singapore), apart from practicing in the Supreme Court of India and Patna High Court.
