Bryan Cave Leighton Paisner (BCLP) has hired Dan Surowiec to take up the role of the chief information officer (CIO) at the firm's Chicago office.
He will oversee the technology teams and help define the next phase of the firm's technology investments.

As we continue our strategy of building strength-on-strength in priority, high-growth practices around the globe, he is a world-class leader who will be a tremendous asset to us and will play a key role in the next phase of innovations at BCLP in service to our clients."
Surowiec stated, "Driven by significant market interest and investment, along with increasing client focus on efficiency that has only accelerated with the change in attitude and expectations coming out of the pandemic, there is a unique opportunity to transform the delivery of legal services and help lawyers use technology to improve their working lives and delight our clients."
