Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas welcomes Okram Prithvi Singha as Partner
Okram Prithvi Singha who was working with Trilegal as Counsel has rejoined Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas as a Partner in the firm's Financing practice and will be based out of Mumbai.
Okram started his career as Assistant Manager- Legal at ICICI Bank and later moved to Essar. His law firm career started in 2012 when he started working with Economic Laws Practice (ELP). Later he moved to Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas for a brief period and then moved to Trilegal.
He has extensive experience in advising lenders, multilateral institutions, sponsors, investors and borrowers and focuses on structured finance, project finance, debt capital market transactions and general banking matters.
Okram is a graduate from Government Law College, Mumbai in 2008. In 2015 & 2017, he featured in the RSG India Report for 'Client Recommendations' for the Banking and Finance practice.
According to a Press Release, Managing Partner at Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas, Mr. Cyril Shroff said, "I am delighted to welcome him back to the firm. Okram is a valuable addition to the practice and the firm."
Partner (Chair - Finance, Projects & Insolvency) Mr. L Viswanathan said, "Okram's admission as a partner will strengthen the Financing practice. We are delighted to have him on board and looking forward to working with him."
Commenting on his new position at the firm, Okram said, "I am excited to be back at Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas and working with a great team of lawyers."
