New Partners’ Profiles
Archit Bhatnagar
Archit is a part of the General Corporate practice based out of Mumbai office. He graduated from NALSAR University of Law, Hyderabad in 2015 and joined us soon after his graduation in August 2015.
Archit has nearly a decade of experience in advising listed companies, investors and promoters on high-value and complex strategic transactions involving listed companies. He specialises in advising on M&A transactions in the Banking & Financial Services (BFSI), Pharma and FMCG sectors and has advised clients on a range of transactions including cross-border M&A, court-based schemes, business / asset transfers, open offer, high value commercial contracts and a significant family settlement. He also routinely advises on corporate governance related aspects. Archit has been recognised by Legal 500 as a ‘Key Lawyer’ in the Tier – 1 Corporate and M&A practice at CAM (2023 - 2024).
Neham Tayal
Neham is a part of the Corporate team based out of Delhi-NCR office. He graduated from National Law Institute University, Bhopal in 2015 and joined the Firm in August 2015.
Neham has nearly 9 years of experience in advising foreign and domestic clients on mergers & acquisitions, foreign investments, joint ventures, business transfers and corporate restructuring, Neham has expertise in multiple sectors including F&B, IT/ITES (including e-commerce and loyalty), BFSI, satcom and manufacturing.
Saloni Shroff
Saloni is a part of the Corporate team based in Mumbai office. She graduated from Government Law College in 2015 and joined the Firm in August 2015.
Saloni has 9 years of experience and focuses on corporate advisory and transactional matters, which mostly include Private Equity and M&A transactions. She has represented many large corporate houses, promoters, and private equity funds in M&A transactions and foreign private equity investments. These include transactions in the education/ edutech and digital media sectors. She brings to the table experience of not only structuring and closing numerous investor driven transactions, but also of undertaking the negotiation of promoter/sell-side requirements on several occasions. Saloni also has experience in advising boards of listed entities, and independent directors on corporate governance matters.
Saurabh Sharma
Saurabh is a part of Firm’s Corporate and GIFT IFSC practice based in Ahmedabad office. He graduated from Gujarat National Law University, Gandhinagar in 2011 and joined the firm in May 2016.
Saurabh has over 11 years of experience. He has been regularly involved in various high-stake mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, business transfers and reorganisation (on shore and offshore), primarily in financial services, fintech, ports, defence, clean energy, logistics and manufacturing sectors. Additionally, he has advised clients on financial regulatory matters, product structuring, blockchain and tokenisation, setting up of small finance banks, neo-banks, foreign bank subsidiaries in India and other service offerings under the Indian regulatory regime.
Sonakshi Arora
Sonakshi is a part of the Corporate team based in Mumbai office. She graduated from Symbiosis Law School, Pune in 2015. She re-joined the firm in June 2020.
Sonakshi holds over 9 years of experience and has been advising clients extensively on transactions involving domestic and cross border acquisitions, mergers and demergers, group restructuring, and business transfers. Her primary emphasis has been on M&A pertaining to listed companies. She has also been part of deals involving private equity, joint ventures, and corporate restructuring, across broad range of sectors. She regularly advices on issues under company law, takeover code, insider trading and securities laws.
Nikhil Varshney
Nikhil is a part of the White Collar & Investigations and Disputes practice based out of Delhi-NCR office. Nikhil graduated from Gujarat National Law University, Gandhinagar in 2014 and joined the firm in June 2023. He is a Gold Medallist in Criminal Laws, Commercial Laws, Code of Civil Procedure and Law of Evidence. With close to 10 years of experience, Nikhil majorly assists clients with corporate investigations as well as represent clients in white collar matters before the Courts, tribunals and law enforcement agencies. He also advises clients on sanctions related issues. Nikhil also represents clients in general civil and commercial matters. He has experience in serving clients in banking, coal mining and transportation, pharmaceuticals and education sector.
Srinivas Chatti
Srinivas is a part of the Disputes & White-Collar Crime Practice based out of Mumbai Office. He graduated from National University of Advanced Legal Studies, Kochi in 2014 and joined the firm in June 2017.
Srinivas has 10 years of experience in advising on civil, commercial and criminal matters. He regularly appears before courts and tribunals across the country, for domestic and foreign clients (across industry sectors such as banking and finance, IT/ ITES, pharmaceuticals, manufacturing and infrastructure.
Surabhi Khattar
Surabhi is a part of the Disputes & White-Collar Crime practice. She is based out of our Noida office. She is a graduate from National Law University, Delhi in 2015 and joined the firm in July 2015.
Surabhi has over 9 years of advisory and disputes experience in handling corporate and commercial litigations, Insolvency laws, white collar litigation and issues relating to product liability are my areas of expertise. She has also handled matters pertaining to environmental laws, arbitration, taxation, intellectual property, consumer laws and general commercial litigation. She regularly appears before Supreme Court, High Courts, District Courts, PMLA Appellate Tribunal, NGT, NCDRC, DRT, NCLT, NCLAT and various Tribunals.
Abhishek Khatri
Abhishek is a part of the Project & Project Finance practice based in Mumbai office. He graduated from West Bengal National University of Juridical Sciences, Kolkata in 2014 and has completed LL.M. from Queen Mary University of London in 2018 post which he joined the Firm in October 2018. Abhishek has close to 9 years of experience in project finance with focus on energy transition, transmission and data centres. He has advised domestic and international banks on a number of project finance transactions. He also regularly advises corporates, banks and funds on structured lending and corporate finance deals.
Aiswarja Mohanty
Aiswarja is a part of the Project & Energy & Infrastructure practice with special emphasis on Energy & Energy transition and Mining. He is based in Delhi-NCR office. He is a graduate from West Bengal National University of Juridical Sciences, Kolkata in 2014 and joined the Firm in January 2021.
With around 10 years of experience, Aiswarja has advised clients on a wide range of products in acquisition transactions, financing transactions and project developments across various sectors including renewable and non-renewable energy sector, highways etc.
Aniket Singhania
Aniket is a part of the Project & Project Finance practice and based out of Ahmedabad office. He graduated from ILS Law College, Pune in 2012 and holds a Diploma in International Business Laws & Corporate Laws in India from Symbiosis International University, 2011. Aniket is also a qualified Company Secretary from ICSI. He joined the Firm in January 2021.
With over 10 years of experience, Aniket regularly advises clients (developers, contractors, investors, etc.) on large projects related contracts (including EPC/ other construction contracts, concession/ sub-concession agreements, O&M agreements, offtake agreements, commercial agreements, etc.), contract management, regulatory matters, M&A and joint ventures in the renewable energy (solar and wind), datacentres, semiconductors, oil and gas, port, road and highways, and other urban infrastructure sectors in India.
Gautam Saran
Gautam is a part of the Project & Project Finance practice and based in Firm’s Mumbai office. He graduated from Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University in 2014 and joined the firm in February 2019.
Gautam has close to 10 years of experience, having worked on a wide range of transactions in projects, project financing, lease rental discounting, co-lending, construction financing across various sectors including solar, wind, EV, roads, warehousing, malls etc. He has advised on various marque deals and first project finance transaction by a commercial international bank in e-mobility space in India.
Surbhi Pareek
Surbhi is a part of the Insolvency & Restructuring practice based out of Firm’s Mumbai office. She graduated from Nirma University, Ahmedabad in 2015 and joined the firm in August 2017.
Surbhi has 9 years of experience and specialises in Insolvency and Restructuring laws of India. She advises India’s leading banks and financial institutions and bondholders as well as insolvency professionals on issues relating to debt restructuring and insolvency laws in India.
Vishal Binod
Vishal is a part of the Projects and Regulatory practice based out of our Delhi-NCR office. He graduated from NALSAR University of Law in 2014 and joined the Firm in December 2023.
With 10 years of experience, Vishal specialises in contentious as well as non-contentious matters pertaining to the energy and infrastructure sector. He has extensively represented clients in litigation mandates across the country, and also has significant experience in advising clients on M&A and other transactional advisory mandates pertaining to the sector. He has also advised and represented clients on other corporate and commercial mandates, including on matters pertaining to insolvency, debt recovery and enforcement, and general contractual disputes.
Utkarsh Bhatnagar
Utkarsh is a part of the Fintech, Financial Services and Financial Services and Technology team, based out of the Mumbai office. He graduated from Rajiv Gandhi National University of Law, Punjab in 2015. He re-joined the firm in August 2019. With 9 years of experience, Utkarsh is a Payments/FinTech lawyer focusing on transactions (PSO investments and acquisitions, NBFC - finding rounds / sale and exits and Cross border – inbound and outbound and Licensing and Regulatory and (product structuring, PSO (PA, PA-CB, PPI) greenfield applications, Digital Asset/ Crypto Players).
