Apart from other practices, she advises clients in regulatory investigations
Argus Partners has named Bhavya Mohan as a partner in the dispute resolution practice at the firm's Bengaluru office.
She was working as an advocate with Arista Chambers and was earlier an associate at AZB & Partners, Amarchand Mangaldas & Suresh A Shroff & Co.
With over 10 years of experience, Bhavya focuses on commercial dispute resolution and advises private clients, public sector enterprises, and multinational corporations who are industry leaders across sectors, including manufacturing, retail, infrastructure, banking, technology, real estate, and private equity. She also advises clients in regulatory investigations.
On her joining Argus Partners, Bhavya said, "I look forward to augmenting the firm's presence in the commercial litigation and arbitration space. I will be running the litigation and dispute resolution practice of the firm in Bangalore."
She has represented clients in domestic and international arbitrations at the International Chamber of Commerce, the Singapore International Arbitration Centre, and the London Court of International Arbitration.
She has acted for clients in complex commercial litigation before various courts across India (including the Supreme Court and High Courts in Mumbai, Bangalore, and Delhi), and specialized tribunals or quasi-judicial authorities, like the Securities Appellate Tribunal, the National Company Law Tribunal, and the Debt Recovery Tribunal/Appellate Tribunal.
