Antitrust Specialist Belinda Harvey joins White & Case in Sydney as Partner
Antitrust Specialist Belinda Harvey joins White & Case in Sydney as Partner
Belinda Harvey is an antitrust specialist who has joined White & Case LLP as a partner in Sydney
She formerly worked for almost 15 years at Norton Rose Fulbright in Sydney, where she rose to the partnership level within the past five years.
Harvey provides comprehensive counsel on antitrust law, consumer protection law, and the regulation of critical services to domestic and foreign clients in the energy, infrastructure, pharmaceutical, financial services, technology, manufacturing, consumer products, and aviation industries.
White & Case's global antitrust practice head in Washington, Mark Gidley, commented that Harvey's hiring sent a strong signal to the Australian and broader Asia-Pacific market that the firm is building a standalone antitrust practice that can assist clients on the entire scope of antitrust and regulatory concerns they confront.
The growing need for antitrust capabilities in the region will be met, and "this significant growth in the Asia-Pacific will further enhance our global image as a leading antitrust practice," Gidley said.
With an emphasis on multijurisdictional issues, joint ventures, and other cooperative arrangements, Harvey has extensive expertise in providing strategic advice and assisting with the clearing of domestic and international M&A.
