Amrita Mukherjee joins Meta as Director- Legal

Erstwhile Head – Legal at Disney+Hotstar – Amrita Mukherjee has quit the organization and is set to join Meta as Director- Legal.

While at Disney+Hotstar, she played a key role in the launch of the OTT platform. She was responsible for the Legal and regulatory affairs of the company.

She joined Star TV Network in 2008 and then went on to become Vice President - Legal and then in 2015, she was elevated to the position of Head – Legal at Disney+Hotstar.

Amrita has previously worked with HSA Advocates, Crawford Bayley & Co., Talwar Thakur and Associates and Udwadia Udeshi & Berjis where she started her career.

Amrita has done her graduation from Symbiosis Law School.
