Akasa Air, an Indian low-cost airline has expanded the roles of Priya Mehra, the Chief of Governance and Strategic Acquisitions and Bharat Vansh Bahadur, the Deputy General Counsel.
Mehra, who was handling the legal and compliance segments, will now head three verticals - legal & compliance, fleet acquisition & management, and regulatory affairs.

Meanwhile, Vansh Bahadur, the Senior Vice President and General Counsel, will lead the legal and compliance practice, and report to Mehra.
With over 18 years of experience, Vansh Bahadur has worked at various law firms and in in-house roles. He was associated with the aviation sector for over seven years, having joined Indigo in 2017 and in 2022, transitioned to Akasa Air.
