Ajinkya Gunjan Mishra joins S&R Associates in Delhi alongwith team
The firm now has 35 partners
Ajinkya Gunjan Mishra has joined S&R Associates as a partner along with associates Avani Tewari and Tarusha Airan in the firm's Delhi office.
A 2007 graduate of the National Law Institute University, Bhopal, Mishra was previously serving at Luthra & Luthra Law Offices India for 12 years and held the position of a partner for five years.
His practice focuses on indirect tax and trade law and he advises global and Indian clients on GST, VAT, service tax, central and state excise, sales tax and customs matters. These pertain to domestic and cross-border acquisitions and an array of complex operational matters, including tax planning strategy, supply chain structuring for products and services, tax assessment, audit and controversy and tax restructuring and compliance.
Mishra has expertise in advising multinational companies on various regulatory matters, including trade incentives under foreign trade policy, free trade agreements and export/fiscal incentive schemes including Special Economic Zones, Export Oriented Units, Software Technology Parks of India, and market entry analysis and structuring.
