Ahlawat & Associates announces joining of Apoorva Misra to head the disputes resolution team
He was earlier serving at HSA Advocates
Apoorva Misra has joined Ahlawat and Associates as a partner to lead the dispute resolution practice in Delhi.
Misra is an expert in advising international and domestic companies in transactions involving regulatory issues, including the acquisition and establishment of thermal, solar, and wind power plants, cross-border supply of power, and other related matters.
Welcoming Misra, Uday Singh Ahlawat, the managing partner at Ahlawat and Associates, expressed, “I am thrilled to have Misra join our team as a partner in the disputes resolution team. With over two decades of experience, Misra has represented several private and government entities, as well as consumer organizations, before various forums including electricity regulatory commissions, Petroleum and Natural Gas Regulatory Board, appellate tribunals for electricity, high courts, and the Supreme Court.
A 2001 graduate of the University of Lucknow, Misra has previously worked with leading law firms including Trilegal, J Sagar Associates, and HSA Advocates, and Sterlite Power Grid Ventures Limited.
