Addleshaw Goddard Appoints Nikhil Chary Co-Chair Of India Business Group
He entered partnership with the London-based firm in 2023
International law firm, Addleshaw Goddard has announced the appointment of Nikhil Chary as the co-chair of the India Business Group.
He specializes in mergers and acquisitions, securities offerings and general corporate practice.
He graduated from NALSAR, Hyderabad, and has been collaborating with stakeholders in the Indian market for numerous years, specializing in diverse cross-border transactions.
On the development, the firm stated, "Our ambition is to become a hub for cross-border services across Southeast Asia, India, the Gulf region and Africa, with a primary focus around global infrastructure, retail, healthcare and financial services offerings."
Following Andrew Johnston's appointment as Managing Partner of the firm, Jonathan Tattersall now serves as the Head of Asia, overseeing the India Business Group.
The firm added, "Together with Jaya Gupta, who has considerable experience in the Indian market, Chary and Tattersall will drive the growth of our India practice in line with the firm's ambitions.”
