Zaki Hashem & Partners acted on record-breaking deal for Corplease
The EGP 3,177,000,000 transaction is one of the most substantial bond issuances within the Egyptian private market
Zaki Hashem & Partners, Attorneys at Law, has secured a monumental securitization deal for Corporate Leasing Company Egypt SAE (Corplease), marking a significant milestone.
The 13th issuance for the company comprised four meticulously structured tranches, each fortified by finance loans sourced from the originating entity, Corplease.
The execution further solidifies Corplease’s position as a trailblazer in the Egyptian financial landscape, reaffirming its commitment to innovation and excellence in the securitization realm.
Zaki Hashem extended its gratitude to CI Capital, the sole lead-arranger and underwriter for the bond issuance in the historic transaction. The law firm acknowledged the unwavering support and collaboration of CI Capital instrumental in realizing the success.
In addition to the expertise provided by the legal team, Helal El Hosary, the partner and head of the capital markets and corporate procedures at Zaki Hashem spearheaded the effort alongside senior associates Mohamed Saeed and Omar Fouda.
