Joyce A. Tan & Partners Strengthens IP And TMT Practice With Addition Of Jim Lim
Singapore-based commercial law firm Joyce A. Tan & Partners has strengthened its intellectual property (IP) and technology, media, and telecommunications (TMT) practice with the appointment of industry veteran Jim Lim as Counsel. Lim, who brings four decades of experience, previously led the IP and technology practice at Withers KhattarWong.
Jeffrey Lim, the firm’s Co-Managing Director, expressed confidence that Jim Lim’s extensive expertise would enhance the firm’s reach across multiple practice areas, particularly in IP and TMT. He said, “Jim’s role will be to serve clients and their business needs on special projects and in fortifying our practices with great expertise.”
Admitted to the Singapore Bar in 1985, Jim Lim joined KhattarWong in 2011, prior to its merger with UK law firm Withers Worldwide. Over his distinguished career, Lim has specialized in a wide range of IP matters and TMT transactions, including copyright, trademarks, trade secrets, IT, media, and entertainment law. He is also experienced in handling acquisitions, joint ventures, and technology transfer issues.
With Lim’s addition, Joyce A. Tan & Partners now boasts a team of 12 lawyers, further reinforcing its position in the IP and TMT space.
