Icahn Enterprises Wins Dismissal Of lawsuit In US District Court

The judge gave time to the investors until 14 October to file an amended complaint

The US District Court - Southern District of Florida has ruled in favor of Icahn Enterprises, dismissing a lawsuit by investors claiming that it inflated its share price by issuing unsustainably high dividends to support the personal borrowing and financial interests of its majority investor, billionaire Carl Icahn.

District Judge K. Michael Moore stated that investors who filed the lawsuit failed to show that Icahn made misrepresentations or omissions intending to defraud.
