Yang & Yang Solicitors Appoints Dennis Yeung As A Partner
He was serving at the Beijing office of Akin Gump Strauss Hauer & Feld, which closed operations recently
Yang & Yang Solicitors, the Hong Kong association firm of the PRC law firm East & Concord Partners, has added mergers and acquisitions expert Dennis Yeung as a partner.
Yeung has over two decades of experience, focusing on mergers and acquisitions, securities and public listings, private equity, regulatory compliance, and corporate and commercial matters.
In a statement, Yang & Yang expressed, “Yeung will bring a wealth of experience to our firm. He will work closely with our strategic partner East & Concord Partners to further develop legal practices with clients in Mainland China.”
Yeung was previously working with Akin Gump Strauss Hauer & Feld, which announced the closure of its four-lawyer Beijing office last year-end.
Currently, Yang & Yang has 10 lawyers in Hong Kong, including eight partners. Early this year, the firm hired Rossana Chu, the former managing partner of EY’s now-shuttered legal arm in Hong Kong, LC Lawyers, and announced its association with East & Concord.
