William Wan And Clarence Lun Join Fervent Chambers In Key Leadership Roles
William Wan And Clarence Lun Join Fervent Chambers In Key Leadership Roles
Singapore-based Law Firm Fervent Chambers has unveiled significant leadership changes, appointing William Wan as Managing Director and welcoming the return of Clarence Lun as Head of Dispute Resolution and International Arbitration.
William Wan joins Fervent Chambers to drive the firm’s expansion and growth initiatives. With a diverse background in legal and mediation practices, Wan brings extensive experience in handling multinational anti-corruption matters, land reversion claims, and oppression of minority and defamation cases. His three-decade tenure in North America and the Indochina region is anticipated to enhance the firm’s capacity to serve both local and international clients.
Clarence Lun, returning to Fervent Chambers, will reinforce the firm's disputes practice. His expertise encompasses high-value disputes in shipping, oil and gas, engineering, construction, and infrastructure projects. Lun has also provided counsel to liquidators and judicial managers on intricate financial matters.
Among Lun’s notable achievements are defending a billionaire against a $208 million claim from a Chinese bank and successfully overturning a multi-million-dollar arbitration award for an Indian commodities company at both the High Court and Court of Appeal levels.
Founded in 2020, Fervent Chambers is a boutique litigation and corporate firm that now boasts a team of five lawyers.
