White & Case Reinforces Middle East Operations with Key Partner Promotions
White & Case has announced the promotion of four lawyers to its Middle East partnership as part of a global partner promotion round. Fraser Galloway and Roger Gaspard have been named partners in the firm’s mergers & acquisitions practice, both based in Dubai. Khawla Alatiyat and Michael Gabriel, who specialize in project development and finance, have also been promoted to partner, with AlatiWhite & Case Reinforces Middle East Operations with Key Partner Promotionsyat based in Abu Dhabi and Gabriel in Riyadh.
These promotions are part of a wider round that includWhite & Case Strengthens Middle East Operations with New Partner Promotionses 37 new partners globally, reflecting strong diversity in both practice areas and geographic locations. Lawyers from 11 of White & Case’s practice areas and 21 of its 44 global offices are featured in the 2024 partner class, which will take effect from January.
“We are incredibly proud to announce the promotion of these 37 outstanding lawyers to the partnership,” said White & Case chair, Heather McDevitt. “This new partner class reflects the incredible reach and depth of our global practices. Each of these new partners has demonstrated superior achievement in their field and a true commitment to our clients."
Last year, the firm promoted 42 lawyers globally, including three in the Middle East. White & Case's latest appointments surpass those of other international firms in the region, with firms such as Kirkland & Ellis, Baker McKenzie, and Clifford Chance also expanding their partnerships in the Middle East in recent months.
