Prominent international law firm White & Case LLP has strengthened its Global Commercial Litigation Practice by welcoming Wilfred Ho as a Partner in Hong Kong.
"Wilfred's experience makes him a great addition to meet the growing needs of our clients in Asia-Pacific," said White & Case partner Glenn Kurtz, Head of the Global Commercial Litigation Practice.
"Wilfred will work closely with our Debt Finance, Capital Markets, Mergers & Acquisitions, and Project Development and Finance practices in Asia-Pacific to advise clients across a range of commercial disputes involving Greater China," Kurtz added.
Wilfred Ho brings his expertise to White & Case LLP, where he will represent companies and private equity funds in commercial litigation cases within Hong Kong courts and arbitrations under various rules and institutions. With a vast background in legal matters, he is well-versed in advising on a wide array of commercial disputes in Greater China, such as shareholder disputes, insolvency and restructuring-related actions, intellectual property issues, and disputes arising from complex commercial transactions. Before joining White & Case, Wilfred was counsel at Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom LLP in their Hong Kong office.
"Bilingual and dual-qualified with significant knowledge and experience in his areas of expertise, Wilfred is a rising star in disputes in Asia-Pacific," said White & Case partner Joanne Draper, Regional Section Head Asia-Pacific EIPAF & Disputes.
"His skill set is a great match to further grow our disputes capabilities in the region and meet the diverse needs of our clients in Greater China," Draper added.
Partner Donald Baker, a member of White & Case's global Executive Committee, stated: "The addition of Wilfred complements our existing capabilities in Asia-Pacific, where his broad experience across a range of commercial disputes will support clients in our established transactional practices as well as further grow our arbitration capabilities. Wilfred's arrival demonstrates our continued commitment to Asia-Pacific and ensures we are our best placed to meet current and future client demand there."
