White & Case Adds Sayako Shiraki And Hiroto Nakayama To Tokyo Investment Funds Practice
White & Case Adds Sayako Shiraki And Hiroto Nakayama To Tokyo Investment Funds Practice
White & Case has bolstered its investment funds practice in Tokyo by appointing Sayako Shiraki as a Local Partner and Hiroto Nakayama as Counsel, adding significant expertise to its team.
Sayako Shiraki, now a part of the firm's global M&A team, specialises in investment funds, real estate, and regulatory matters. She provides comprehensive advice to fund managers, service providers, investors, and financial institutions on cross-border fund structuring, management, real estate investments, financing, and regulatory issues.
Hiroto Nakayama focuses on financial regulatory matters, advising fund managers, global and investment banks, and other financial institutions on licensing applications, corporate restructuring, and compliance documentation. His extensive experience in financial transactions equips him to offer legal guidance on regulations impacting Japanese and foreign banks, insurance companies, and securities firms.
Both Shiraki and Nakayama were previously managing associates at Linklaters in Tokyo. Their appointment follows the recent addition of funds partner Eriko Sakata, also from Linklaters, further underscoring White & Case's commitment to expanding its global funds practice.
