Vincent Seah Assumes Sole Country Managing Partner Role At DLA Piper Singapore
DLA Piper has announced the appointment of Vincent Seah as sole Country Managing Partner (CMP) of its Singapore office, effective from 1 May 2024. Vincent has held the role of Co-CMP, alongside Corporate Partner Joe Bauerschmidt, since October 2023. Joe, who was appointed CMP in May 2016, will remain with the firm and continue to play an important role in its Singapore Corporate practice.
Vincent became a part of DLA Piper in 2019 and has since played a pivotal role in the firm's esteemed Finance practice in Asia. His expertise lies in the realm of project development and financing, primarily within the energy and infrastructure sector. Vincent specializes in renewable energy and energy transition projects spanning South Asia and Southeast Asia. Notably, he has provided counsel on ground-breaking projects that have marked significant milestones in recent years. With qualifications in both Singapore and England, Vincent is esteemed as a top-tier legal professional by numerous independent legal publications.
DLA Piper Singapore holds a pivotal position as a strategic office within the firm's network. Serving as the gateway to Southeast Asia, it plays a crucial role in shaping the firm's regional strategy.
In response to the appointment, Satpal Gobindpuri, Regional Managing Partner for Asia, remarked: “I am delighted to announce Vincent as our sole CMP in Singapore.
