Tokyo International Law Adds Arbitration Expert Earl Rivera-Dolera As Partner
Tokyo International Law Adds Arbitration Expert Earl Rivera-Dolera As Partner
Tokyo International Law Office has expanded its team by hiring Earl Rivera-Dolera as a Partner, reflecting the firm’s focus on meeting the growing demand for international arbitration services.
Koki Yamada, Managing Partner of Tokyo International, noted the increasing number of significant cross-border disputes in Asia being resolved through international arbitration, highlighting the need to cater to client demands.
Rivera-Dolera, who was previously a partner and head of international arbitration at Frasers Law Company, brings extensive experience in international commercial and investment treaty arbitration, mediation, and cross-border litigation. She has represented clients in jurisdictions including Singapore, the Philippines, Vietnam, the US, Japan, and the UK.
In addition to her arbitration expertise, Rivera-Dolera has led arbitration tribunals and served as a sole or co-arbitrator in cases across India, Singapore, the Philippines, Vietnam, Korea, Japan, and Hong Kong. She has also contributed significantly to ad hoc arbitrations and construction project dispute boards, and her mediation practice spans key international hubs such as New York, Singapore, and Vietnam.
Further strengthening its capabilities, Tokyo International Law Office also brought on board Makiko Kawamura in September 2024 to establish a tax practice, and added Hojung Jun as a partner specializing in construction and project development.
