Tokyo-based Atsumi & Sakai expands team with corporate hire Fumiyo Doi
Tokyo-based Atsumi & Sakai expands team with corporate hire Fumiyo Doi
Fumiyo Doi has joined the Japanese law firm Atsumi & Sakai in Tokyo as a partner, having previously held an in-house role at GE Healthcare.
Prior to joining GE Healthcare, Doi worked for approximately six years at Amazon Japan in another in-house capacity. She began her career at Nagashima Ohno & Tsunematsu before moving in-house.
Doi's expertise lies in the technology and pharmaceutical sectors, and she is well-versed in advising on a range of issues such as fintech, communications, intellectual property matters, and more.
Her extensive experience in these areas makes her a valuable asset to Atsumi & Sakai as they continue to provide top-quality legal services to their clients.
Atsumi & Sakai now has 93 partners in Tokyo following the addition of Fumiyo Doi. However, in January, the firm experienced a loss when corporate specialist Go Hashimoto departed for Oh-Ebashi LPC & Partners.
Despite Hashimoto's departure, Atsumi & Sakai remains a leading law firm in Japan, providing high-quality legal services to clients across various industries.
