TMI Associates Bolsters Fintech And Corporate Law Expertise With Junhee Lee Appointment
TMI Associates Bolsters Fintech And Corporate Law Expertise With Junhee Lee Appointment
TMI Associates, a leading Japanese law firm, announced the hiring of Junhee Lee as counsel. This strategic move strengthens the firm's capabilities in fintech and corporate law.
Lee brings a wealth of experience to TMI Associates, having previously served as a partner at Yulchon, a prominent law firm in Seoul, South Korea. Before that, he honed his legal skills as an attorney-at-law at Kim & Chang, another prestigious Seoul-based firm, from 2003 to 2016.
In 2016, Lee transitioned to the in-house legal sector, holding the position of general counsel for Hyundai Card, Hyundai Capital, and Hyundai Commercial. This experience provided him with invaluable insights into the inner workings of major financial institutions. He further expanded his expertise in the fintech space by serving as deputy general counsel for fintech and payments at Coupang Corporation, a leading e-commerce company in South Korea.
At TMI Associates, Lee will draw upon his comprehensive legal background to advise clients on a broad range of matters, with a particular focus on fintech, financial regulation, data transactions, and mergers and acquisitions (M&A).
