Syed Haris Rejoins Zul Rafique & Partners, Boosting Firm’s Energy Expertise
Syed Haris Rejoins Zul Rafique & Partners, Boosting Firm’s Energy Expertise
Malaysian law firm Zul Rafique & Partners has strengthened its energy practice with the return of Syed Haris Syed Yahya as a partner.
Haris rejoins the firm after serving as Senior Corporate Counsel at oil and gas giant Sapura Energy. His return marks his third tenure at Zul Rafique, having previously been a partner before joining Sapura in 2019 and associate between 2006 and 2010. He also held an in- house role at trading and logistics conglomerate Sime Darby.
The firm highlighted Haris' extensive experience across the energy sector, including bespoke contract drafting, tenders, compliance, contract management, and dispute resolution.
"His return underscores our commitment to providing top-tier legal services across key sectors like energy and oil & gas," said Datuk Lukman Sheriff Alias, co-managing partner of Zul Rafique, in a statement.
Earlier this year, Zul Rafique further expanded its team by adding disputes partner Nur Syafinaz Vani from Rosli Dahlan Saravana Partnership.
