Singapore’s PDLegal Expands Its Dispute Resolution Practice as disputes expert Nazim Khan joins as Senior Partner
Singapore’s PDLegal Expands Its Dispute Resolution Practice as disputes expert Nazim Khan joins as Senior Partner
PDLegal, a law firm based in Singapore, has recently appointed Nazim Khan as its senior partner in dispute resolution, joining the firm from UniLegal. This marks the third time in slightly over a year that PDLegal has added a new partner in dispute resolution.
In October of last year, the firm brought on board Wei Hong Ling, a specialist in insurance disputes, while Cathryn Neo, an expert in international arbitration and China practices, joined the team in February 2022 after serving at Ashurst ADTLaw.
Having amassed over 25 years of experience, Khan's expertise lies in handling fraud and white-collar crime cases, as well as international arbitration matters and forensic investigations.
Notably, he served as counsel for an ex-Goldman director in the 1MDB case, specifically concerning CMS charges in Malaysia with Singapore ties.
In addition, Khan provides advisory services to clients on corporate matters such as shareholders' agreements, mergers and acquisitions, and the purchase and sale of assets and businesses.
PDLegal was founded in 2017 by a former partner of Duane Morris & Selvam, Peter Doraisamy, and has since expanded to include 10 partners.
