Seon Ae Choi Joins Dentons Lee To Strengthen Labor Practice
Dentons Lee, a leading Korean law firm, has further enhanced its labor and employment practice group with the addition of Seon Ae Choi as a senior attorney. Choi brings decades of experience in human resources matters to the firm.
This strategic hire follows the appointment of Eunjee Kim, a Former Partner at Bae, Kim & Lee, as a senior attorney in September 2024. Kim now leads Dentons Lee's human resources and labor practice group.
“Choi is expected to create a synergistic effect with our existing labour team by not only handling traditional legal services such as litigation and advisory, but also by flexibly responding to new demands arising from evolving business environments, such as safety and health management diagnostics related to serious industrial accidents and ESG compliance,” said Heejun Choi, Chief Managing Attorney of Dentons Lee.
Prior to joining Dentons Lee, Choi held senior positions at prominent law firms, including Jeongyul, DR & AJU, Kim, Shin & Yu, and Lee International, which merged with Dentons in 2020. Dually qualified in Korea and New York, she has extensive experience representing clients in various labor-related disputes, including dismissals, unfair labor practices, discrimination against non-regular workers, and violations of fair representation obligations.
“We are continuously reinforcing the labour team with new talent to promote internal organisational stability,” said Heejun Choi.
