Senior Foreign Attorney Bernard Ham Joins Dentons Lee To Strengthen Life Sciences And Healthcare Practice
Dentons Lee, a prominent law firm, has welcomed Senior Foreign Attorney Bernard K. Ham to lead its Life Sciences and Healthcare practice team in Korea. Simultaneously, Ham will serve as a senior foreign attorney within the firm’s broader corporate practice. His extensive expertise in life sciences law positions him as a valuable asset for advising pharmaceutical, biopharma, medical device, and diagnostics companies on transactions related to product development and commercialisation.
Jean-Marc Grosperrin, Global Chair of the Life Sciences and Healthcare Group, expressed his enthusiasm, stating, “I am delighted to welcome Bernard to our Global Life Sciences team. His deep understanding of complex cross-border transactions and regulatory matters equips us to offer comprehensive and strategic solutions to our Life Sciences clients worldwide.”
Ham’s legal journey began at the US Department of Health and Human Services in the Office of the General Counsel. He subsequently practised law with reputable global firms, specialising in pharmaceutical and healthcare practice groups. Notably, Ham served a significant term as the head of business development for a Korean global molecular diagnostics company.
In addition to his life sciences expertise, Ham has advised clients in the automotive, technology, and entertainment industries. His experience extends to corporate transactions, particularly Korean corporate investments in the US.
