Rohit Sharma has joined the American multinational medical technology giant Becton Dickinson as South Asia legal counsel in Gurugram, Haryana.

Sharma has over 14 years of diverse experience in advising on legal, compliance, and regulatory disputes in pharmaceutical, mining, telecom, and other healthcare industries.

A 2010 graduate of Kurukshetra University, Haryana, he holds a diploma in competition law from the National Law University, New Delhi.

Before transitioning to an in-house role, he was an associate partner at Economic Laws Practice and has also worked with Karanjawala & Co and Senior Advocate Geeta Luthra. Until recently, for over two years, he was a Director, Legal & Compliance, at Zimmer Biomet.
