Rajah & Tann Thailand Appoints Melisa Uremovic And Supawat Srirungruang As Co-Managing Partners
Rajah & Tann Thailand (RT), part of Rajah & Tann Asia, has announced the appointment of Melisa Uremovic and Supawat Srirungruang as Co-Managing Partners. Their appointments mark a new chapter for the firm following the decade-long leadership of Surasak Vajasit.
The firm expressed excitement about the new leadership, noting that the appointments come at a pivotal time as Thailand is on the cusp of significant transformation and growth.
Surasak Vajasit, who steps down from his role as managing partner, will continue with the firm as Chairman and Senior Partner. He will focus on dispute resolution, international arbitration, joint venture disputes, rehabilitation and bankruptcy, as well as banking and finance.
Melisa Uremovic, previously the Deputy Managing Partner, brings over 20 years of experience in Thailand. Her expertise includes foreign ownership issues, anti-bribery, competition, and data protection.
Supawat Srirungruang, who has been with Rajah & Tann since 2014, specializes in project development, telecommunications and technology, regulatory compliance, dispute resolution, and international trade laws.
In their new roles, Uremovic and Srirungruang outlined their strategies: “We will continue to prioritise a balanced, inclusive, and people-first work environment, strengthen relationships with valued clients, drive innovations, enhance technological capabilities, and expand services in key strategic areas.”
