Providence Law Asia Appoints Daniel Tan As Director And Head Of Restructuring & Insolvency Practice
Providence Law Asia, a Singapore-based boutique law firm, has announced the appointment of Daniel Tan as Director and Head of its Restructuring & Insolvency practice, effective 2 January 2025. Tan, formerly a Partner at Shook Lin & Bok, brings a wealth of experience in Banking and Financial Disputes, with a particular focus on cross-border restructuring and insolvency.
With a distinguished career spanning roles at Shook Lin, WongPartnership, and as Group Legal Counsel at Standard Chartered Bank, Tan has built a strong reputation for advising corporate debtors, institutional creditors, and turnaround professionals in complex, special situations. His expertise also extends to corporate disputes, fraud, asset recovery, and investigations.
Known as one of Southeast Asia's leading practitioners in financial disputes and restructuring, Tan’s appointment is set to significantly bolster Providence Law Asia’s capabilities in these key areas.
