NRF Alliance Hires Mei Yen Tan as Head of Restructuring and Insolvency
Mei Yen Tan has been appointed as the new Head of Restructuring and Insolvency at Ascendant Legal, Norton Rose Fulbright's formal law alliance firm in Singapore. Previously, Tan co-led the same practice at the local firm Oon & Bazul.
In 2017, Tan joined Oon & Bazul from WongPartnership, where she had served as a partner since 2011. Before her time at WongPartnership, she worked as a director at Drew & Napier, another Big Four law firm.
Tan brings over 20 years of experience advising on various legal matters to NRF. Her expertise lies in advising multi-national corporations, banks, funds, individuals, and court-appointed administrators on cross-border disputes, corporate fraud, insolvency, and restructuring, as well as investigations.
In 2019, Norton Rose Fulbright (NRF) allied with Ascendant Legal to enhance its service offerings in Singapore, encompassing litigation and arbitration, financial restructuring, regulatory matters, and investigations.
