Norton Rose Fulbright Associate Firm TNB & Partners Enhances Team With Erie Tobing
Indonesia’s TNB & Partners, which operates in association with Norton Rose Fulbright, has strengthened its Dispute Resolution Practice by Hiring Erie Tobing as a Partner from local firm Soemadipradja & Taher.
Tobing, who brings nearly two decades of experience in dispute resolution, will enhance TNB’s capabilities across sectors such as construction, financial institutions, mining, shipping, and telecommunications. He joined Soemadipradja in 2018, following his tenure at Ricardo Simanjuntak & Partners.
Kresna Panggabean, Managing Partner of TNB, commented, “Erie will add depth to our dispute resolution offering in Indonesia, complementing our existing strengths in corporate and banking and finance advice.”
TNB & Partners has been associated with Norton Rose Fulbright since 2016 and currently comprises 13 lawyers, including four partners. Norton Rose Fulbright’s Managing Partner in Australia, Alison Deitz, emphasized the importance of this addition, stating, “It is a priority of our firm to continue to work with clients in the Asia-Pacific region and strengthen ties with our Asia offices. Erie’s strong disputes and arbitration background will significantly support this goal.”
Established in Jakarta in 2016, TNB & Partners collaborates closely with Norton Rose Fulbright’s Australian network, building on nearly three decades of Norton Rose Fulbright’s presence in Indonesia.
Panggabean highlighting firm’s Association with Norton Rose Fulbright said: “Through our association with Norton Rose Fulbright in Australia, TNB & Partners is well placed to assist domestic and international clients as they grow in the Asia-Pacific region and beyond.”
