Norton Rose Fulbright Adds Cross-Border Financing Expertise In Singapore With Beelee Seah Appointment
Norton Rose Fulbright Adds Cross-Border Financing Expertise In Singapore With Beelee Seah Appointment
Norton Rose Fulbright, a global law firm, has boosted its banking and finance expertise in Singapore by appointing Beelee Seah. Seah, who joins from Baker McKenzie where he held the position of local principal, brings over a decade of experience advising on cross-border financing deals across South Asian loan markets, with a particular focus on Vietnam. He also boasts proficiency in fund finance.
Seah has had stints with Ashurst and Linklaters before he joined Banker McKenzie in 2017.
This move comes amidst a period of strategic staffing adjustments for Norton Rose Fulbright's Singapore office. While they saw the departure of banking partner Janelene Chen to Mayer Brown in January, they also recently welcomed international arbitration partner Kent Phillips from Hogan Lovells in November.
Commenting on the appointment, Yu-En Ong, head of Singapore at Norton Rose Fulbright, highlighted the rising demand for their services across Southeast Asia. He expressed confidence that Seah's extensive experience in the region will significantly enhance its client offerings.
