Nguyen Ngoc Phuc Joins Nishimura & Asahi, Boosting Vietnam Real Estate Expertise
Nguyen Ngoc Phuc Joins Nishimura & Asahi, Boosting Vietnam Real Estate Expertise
Nishimura & Asahi has enhanced its real estate practice and strengthened its legal team in Vietnam with the addition of Nguyen Ngoc Phuc as a New Partner in Ho Chi Minh City.
Nguyen, a seasoned Vietnam-qualified lawyer with over 25 years of experience, specializes in real estate, M&A, corporate law, and finance. Prior to joining Nishimura & Asahi, he was a partner at the Ho Chi Minh City office of Mori Hamada & Matsumoto.
Nguyen will focus on expanding the firm's non-Japanese client base by leveraging his extensive expertise in real estate matters and long-standing client relationships built over his career, including managing his own legal practice.
Earlier in his career, Nguyen spent six years with Australian law firm Allens' Ho Chi Minh City office. In 2007, he founded Garnet Law, which was later acquired by ZICO Law Vietnam in 2017, where he continued as a partner.
Nishimura & Asahi first established its presence in Vietnam by opening its Ho Chi Minh City office in 2010, followed by its Hanoi office a year later.
