Khodeir & Partners expands into UAE; Ammar El Banna appointed as Managing Partner to Run Operations
The expansion underscores the firm’s commitment to strengthen its brand and serve clients in the Middle East region
With the establishment of a fully licensed office, Khodeir & Partners has announced its expansion in the United Arab Emirates (UAE). Spearheading the new venture is Ammar El Banna, appointed as its Managing Partner.
Commenting on the expansion, Mohamed Khodeir, the partner at Khodeir & Partners remarked, “It was driven organically by client demand. We are committed to being wherever our clients need us, both geographically and in terms of legal services.”
El Banna has earlier held esteemed positions in firms including Stephenson Harwood and Hadef & Partners.
With over 16 years of experience in the Middle East, he has served multinational corporations and directors on various legal matters, including corporate transactions, mergers & acquisitions, project finance, and arbitration, across crucial sectors such as oil & gas, banking, and real estate.
His accomplishments include leading ground-breaking cases that established legal precedents in the Court of Cassation in Dubai and the Federal Supreme Court of the UAE. He is also an approved legal trainer in the Legal Affairs Department, Government of Dubai.
