Kennedys Strengthens Asia-Pacific Team With Mark Errington’s Appointment In Singapore
Kennedys, an international law firm, has announced the appointment of Mark Errington as a partner in its Singapore office, effective from July 2024. His role will involve leading the property, construction, and energy division in the region.
According to Matt Andrews, the regional managing partner at Kennedys, their vision is to be a leading global legal risk advisory firm, with a strong focus on supporting the insurance industry. He expressed his satisfaction that Errington will be joining the firm, emphasising their commitment to assisting insurance clients in the Asia-Pacific region and across their global network.
Mark Errington brings extensive expertise in insurance and reinsurance dispute resolution. Having spent nearly 25 years in Singapore, he previously launched Asia operations of the London-headquartered law firm Reynolds Porter Chamberlain (RPC) in 2012. His knowledge spans various sectors, including property, construction, engineering, and power and energy.
Julian Wallace, the joint managing partner at Kennedys, highlighted Errington’s proficiency in handling property damage liability and claims related to power, infrastructure, and energy. Wallace emphasised that Errington’s experience and technical excellence are highly regarded both locally and internationally, making him an invaluable asset to their client base in Singapore and beyond.
