JTJB in Singapore Bolsters Team with Addition of Corporate Lawyer from Oon & Bazul
JTJB in Singapore Bolsters Team with Addition of Corporate Lawyer from Oon & Bazul
JTJB, a law firm in Singapore, has recently added Ting Chi Yen as a partner to their team. Ting is an experienced corporate lawyer, having worked for around two decades.
His areas of expertise include advising financial institutions, borrowers, and lenders on matters such as banking, finance, compliance, and general corporate affairs.
Ting has a particular focus on shipping and real estate and has worked on various projects involving cross-border working capital, trade finance, structured finance, securitization, acquisitions, syndicated, and asset financing.
Before joining JTJB, Ting worked at Oon & Bazul since 2007.
With Ting Chi Yen joining as a partner, JTJB now has a total of 10 partners in their Singapore office. Additionally, the law firm has recently merged its Bangkok office with AWP & Alliance, a commercial boutique firm based in Thailand.
Oon & Bazul has experienced its third partner departure since November with Ting Chi Yen's exit. In February, the co-head of their restructuring practice, Mei Yen Tan, moved to Norton Rose Fulbright, and prior to that, litigator Jerald Foo left for Selvam.
