IndusLaw Bolsters Team with the Addition of Siddharth Manchanda
IndusLaw, a prominent law firm, has announced the return of seasoned corporate lawyer Siddharth Manchanda as a partner in Mumbai. His comeback follows a successful two-year term as the General Counsel at the renowned ed-tech company, Unacademy.
Bringing over 14 years of expertise to the table, Manchanda provides counsel to clients across diverse sectors including education, telecom, pharmaceuticals, and insurance. His proficiency includes areas such as mergers and acquisitions, private equity, venture capital, disputes, and general corporate matters.
In 2021, Manchanda joined Unacademy, marking a transition after a one-year tenure at IndusLaw. Prior to that, he was associated with Themis Associates and Bharucha & Partners.
IndusLaw's Mumbai team has expanded to include 19 partners. In the past year, the firm welcomed several accomplished professionals to its ranks, including Delhi tax partner Lokesh Shah from Saraf & Partners, Delhi infrastructure and energy partner Shashwat Kumar from Shardul Amarchand Mangaldas & Co (SAM), Bengaluru disputes partner Suadat Ahmad Kirmani from Tatva Legal, Delhi banking partner Pritha Chatterjee from SAM, and Gurugram corporate partner Shantanu Jindel from J Sagar Associates.
Additionally, the firm experienced departures in its Gurugram office, with M&A partners Manish Gupta, Pratyush Khurana, and Ashish Ahluwalia transitioning to Shardul Amarchand Mangaldas & Co.
