HFW appoints Abdulrahman Al-Ohaly as Partner in Riyadh
He was previously serving at DWF
Global law firm HFW has strengthened its growing Middle East practice by appointing Abdulrahman Al-Ohaly as a Partner in Riyadh.
Al-Ohaly is a seasoned legal professional with expertise in commercial litigation and corporate transactions. He is the fifth partner addition to the firm in the Middle East in the last 18 months.
Expressing his excitement about joining HFW, Al-Ohaly cited the firm’s reputation for specialization, excellence, and integrity. He stated that he was looking forward to contributing to the firm’s success and growth plans.
HFW’s move follows the recruitment of Riyadh corporate partner Euan Pinkerton, Dubai construction partner Slava Kiryushin, and Dubai shipping and offshore experts Rob Lawrence and Ian Chung.
Recently, the firm relocated aviation specialist Francesco Fiorilli from Dubai to Riyadh and Master Mariner Shamsheer Singh from London to Dubai. HFW solidified its unique position as the only law firm in the Middle East with a Master Mariner.
Yaman Al Hawamdeh, the UAE managing partner at HFW, emphasized the significance of the development for the firm, illustrating its dedication to the region’s growth.
The expansion aligns with HFW’s global growth strategy, with 26 new partner additions since the beginning of this Financial Year. It has strengthened its presence across key regions, including Australia, Hong Kong, London, Paris, and Singapore.
Established in the Middle East in 2006, it now comprises 20 partners and 60 lawyers across offices in Abu Dhabi, Dubai, Kuwait City, and Riyadh, making it one of the largest practices among international law firms in the region.
It recently obtained a license from the Saudi Ministry of Justice to practice in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. This underlines its commitment to the Middle East’s flourishing legal landscape.
As HFW pursues leading partners and teams, it remains resolute and committed to providing exceptional legal services globally.
